2011: Science and me collide in the most horrific way imaginable; with an evo-devo paper on primate limbs. Then, amidst the confusing concepts I see something I didn’t expect.
A reference to that much maligned find from 2009. The fact Darwinius masillae was turned into a media circus hasn’t changed a thing. Science still marched forwards, took what was useful from the find and then cited it two years later.
It’s proof science works and that puts a smile on my face.
